What should I tell you about the tree?

That provider contacts you, asks a few questions, and may schedule a visit to look at the tree. The provider, not Affectedjim Tree Service, does the work and sets the price in a written quote.
Am I stuck with the first answer?
Not at all. Sending a request carries no obligation. Compare quotes, ask questions, and take your time. If the tree is an emergency, say so in the form and many providers can respond quickly. Timing varies, so ask each provider what is realistic.
